You’ve never heard of Doug Rockwitz? Unfortunately, too few people have.

He was an innovative guitarist in the Buffalo, NY area, a member of Armed and Dangerous, Bitter Sweet and Fatal Sting.

But even if you went to see one of those bands, chances are you might not remember him. At 6’7”, he literally stood out among his band mates. But you still may not have seen him because he rarely took the spotlight.

So if he was all that great, why haven’t you heard of him? Of course there was bad luck and bad timing. But one of the biggest reasons that Doug didn’t do more was his health.

He literally died twice on operating tables and still came back to rock for two decades. He dealt with heart issues, cancer, broken bones and depression, yet he was a capital F friend to so many.

This book seeks to tell Doug’s story through the eyes of those who knew him best: his friends, his family and his band mates. To Doug, these people were his number one priority

To his friends, Doug was their rhyme.
